DAY 334 My Way or the Highway??

Hi there, Journal & Friends,

Time for a new kind of Friday Favorite!

Today is going to be the first of some of my favorite shortie videos. I'll try to keep them short, and health oriented!

This one is a snippet from the documentary film by Tom Noughton, titled "Fat Head" (click here for his website).

I'll warn you... he's kind of a nut. He describes himself as a "stand-up comedian and a sit-down writer."

This clip is cheesey, goofy and corny... but I agree with the data. It's why I quit eating sugar and flour, and the reason my physical cravings for the stuff shrunk to itsy bitsy.

I do NOT believe in "there is only one way to do this"... so please don't take offense if you disagree. It's just the nutritional way that finally, after a lifetime of struggle, has worked for me.

And sometimes, there are people still trying to find a good way for themselves. So, that's my motive... just to share some info for consideration.

(NOT!)

Here is the text describing this video:

For decades we’ve been told gaining and losing weight is all about the calories. Just one little problem: the research says otherwise. Diabetics undergo dramatic weight changes when they adjust their insulin levels — and so do you. Your diet determines how much insulin your body will produce over time. From the documentary “Fat Head.”

From Dr Phil's book: "Your thoughts powerfully program you."

My verse for today: "Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground."

My quote for today: "I know where I'm going and I know the truth, and I don't have to be what you want me to be. I'm free to be what I want." --Muhammad Ali

Enjoy the Journey,

Loretta
