DAY 147 Day of Rest & Favorite Photo

Hello Journal & Friends,

I enjoy words. I enjoy looking up words in the dictionary. And I LOVE good quotes. Quotes that take words and communicate truth in a pithy way. What makes a quote "good"? I dunno. I suppose whether or not I like it or not, LOL! So, it's good to ME.

Yesterday Olivia  gave me a wonderful quote, and it really hit the spot. So here it is, incorporated into today's Favorite Photo (click to enlarge). Thanks, Olivia!

Enjoy the Journey,

I love that quote! It is very profound. I think that is a very easy thing to do. I need to remember to celebrate the small steps!

LOSING 100: Me, too. I hadn't heard that quote before, but it made me realize I was forgetting to appreciate the small successes.

Hi Deb,
Thanks, I loved it too. :-)
Jim likes to take lots of macros of the tiny insides of flowers. This one had the shadows, yet a ray of light showing the small beautiful center... sort of like the quote. It was just BEGGING to be picked for that quote. :-D

Great quote!

It's sooo easy to lose sight of those 'small successes,' isn't it? Every day should only be about such tiny success... with all of those success added up, we eventually reach that great ambition!

Thanks for all your comments on my blog--it makes my day!

ANNIE: Thank you, and welcome. :-)

SUNNY: So glad you liked it.

DAYNE: Yes, and I need to remind myself often!

DAILYSEEKING: Oh, that is sweet of you to say. But I find YOUR blog to be an inspiration. It's hard to explain. Blogs have a feel, a scent... yours is like a delicate rose, like entering a peaceful garden. I enjoy visiting, and come away with the scent of flowers lingering on me. I hope that made sense!
