DAY 219 Toon Tuesday & The Winner Is...

Hi Journal & Friends,

Yesterday MyGuy was working on the computer all day, and I didn't get on til about midnight. Imagine my surprise and delight when I discovered that I had actually, really, truly won the prize from The Perfect 10 Challenge (led by Steve, at South Beach Steve) that we just finished!!

How fun is that?! I haven't won a thing since I was about 10 years old, so I was tickled pink to win the mini-clubbells. They are described as "an ancient tool for the modern athlete".

When I first joined The Perfect 10 Challenge, I went to the sponsor's website and read about the minibells (HERE).  I was intrigued! The originator of the system had problems with connective tissue... so do I.
And this system of exercise helped him... I want that!

I was VERY interested. He said the system actually strengthens connective tissue. That is exactly what I need! Did I mention that I am excited??!

After I receive them and have had a chance to use them for awhile, I will definitely let ya'll know how it goes.

Now, on to Toon Tuesday!

A couple of times lately when I really felt that urge to chow down, I got out my "kit" of doodling supplies, and worked on today's letter for Toon Tuesday.

And it worked! I became absorbed in the process, and forgot about food. Having a "kit" ready to grab in a moments notice is a handy tool with which to smother the Munch Monster.

So today is brought to you by the letter B.

(can click pic to enlarge)

From Dr Phil's book: "Perfect the coping skills you have adopted... take it to another level."

My verse for today: "My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love."

My quote for today: "Most of our obstacles would melt away if, instead of cowering before them, we should make up our minds to walk boldly through them." --Orison Swett Marden

Enjoy the Journey,

Loretta
=^..^=

"...make up our minds to walk boldly through them." HS! I just live the visual I got with that quote. I can't describe it, but it involves that exercise club thing you just won. hahaha.

Congrats! That is exciting and a great prize. Because you dared to be bold. :D

Bold is a great word. I would say it was what I summoned. Sometimes it's hard to be bold, but I can attest that it was really rewarding.

I am so excited for you - this is going to really be a great prize! I haven't used club bells myself, so I am also anxious to read your thoughts on them after you start your program.

Congrats again!
