Good Afternoon Journal & Friends,
Yesterday, right after I posted my Grumpy Schmumpy pontifications, I opened my email and discovered that MyGuy had sent me several photos he had taken.
What perfect timing! They were adorable and made me smile... just what I needed.
So I thought I'd share them here, in case anyone else needs a smile. :-)
(as always, can click any pics to enlarge)
Enjoy the Journey (easier on some days than others, yes?),
Loretta

that dude is CUTE. I love his racing stripe and his little baby ears. He makes me want to talk babytalk.
:D I love chipmunks! When I was about elementary school age, there was this cartoon in which Chip and Dale pained a roof in multi-colored polka dots. I can't remember the story, but ever since then I've LOVED chipmunks and they make me smile.
I'll be showing these pics to Kenna. She often looks out the window with her binoculars trying to see them. (Not surprisingly, she has never succeeded.)

Yes, another chipmunk lover here!
Oh, so cute! Natural spirit lifter. Thanks for sharing, Retta!
What a cutie. Animals always raise my spirits. What a difference the little things make.
Very cute and does make me smile! Thanks to you both!
I absolutely loved the blue bird picture yesterday!
Awww. Your Guy is fab and so are the pics. :)
How fun is this - picture day is all around us.
Hope you are resting well!
Lanie Paine: ha ha ha, racing stripe. I hadn't heard it called that before. Love it! I've loved Chippys for as long as I can remember. :-)

What an adorable baby!! It is a great day when I get to take a picture of a little animal or bug! We have some really cool bugs down here and little babies scurrying about in the spring bring a smile to my soul :)
TOO CUTE! Gosh, the last one almost looks like it must be fake! I can't believe how great the shot is or how still the little guy is. That is AWESOME!! Thanks for sharing. You and the hubby are so talented!
