Day 56 of ReStart, Sunday Oct 4, 09
Hello Journal,
I picked this photo because of the story MyGuy told me about it. He was on a camping trip near Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, in Northern California.
He had heard about a huge waterfall in a secluded area of the Park. So early in the morning he took off on a hike to look for it. He said he had to fight his way through shrubs as they got thicker and thicker, and he ended up crawling on his hands and knees through the undergrowth in that remote part of the forest. He suddenly emerged into what felt like a secret place, with this lovely little waterfall in it.
He loved the tranquility of the place...he said it was sooo peaceful.

Hi Loretta,
I just wanted to pop in and say, I love how you use your blog to self-reflect and PLAN for success. I really believe you will reach your goals because of that!
Be well...
Lyn
Beautiful photo! Wishing you continued success!
Just like when he had to crawl through the bush to get to that beautiful spot, sometimes we have to "crawl through life" to get to a beautiful spot. I copied down your quote and will put it up in my blog. It's a perfect reflection for today.
waterfalls are peaceful. I would love to live near one. My neighbor Sandy has a water fountain in her house, on the floor, its about the size of an end table, kind of big but not enormous. It sounds fantastic, I really want one of those. I bet my cats and my dog would drink it though, ha ha
Thank you everyone, for your nice comments. I told Jim that you enjoyed his photo...and I enjoyed the grin he got on his face. :-)
