Jim was up hiking the trails at Crater Lake National Park, Oregon, in the summertime when he took photos of this little chipmunk. He said the little guy let him come up quite close, and it just sat there watching him. It was probably expecting a treat!
Someday I will be able to go hiking with MyGuy.... the New Me. :-)

Chuckle. Love the pic and the sentiment! Be careful what you say about hiking, tho. If you remember my "Walk not Hike" post, you'll recall that my husband thought a 2200 mile hike would be really cool. chuckle. (He has since reassessed the situation!) :D Love ya, Deb
Hey, speaking of hubbies. I've been meaning to tell you and keep forgetting: A few posts ago, you mentioned the Scripture in Proverbs about your husband being able to have confidence in you, doing him good and not evil... Ugh hiking. Not for me. The last two years I seem to get roped into a hiking field trip with my daughter Isabel and no matter how much I train for it (and I do) I am always huffing and puffing and quite nearly having a heart attack. I know this should motivate me to get healthier before the next hiking trip, but it just makes me not like hiking!!!

I like your line, enjoy the journey. It reminds me to be patient. All the lessons I learned in taking the weight off and keeping it off, now teach me how to accomplish new goals. Yup, enjoy the journey.
