FEB 22 Circling Toon Tuesday

Hi Journal & Friends,

It was funny... lately I've been intrigued with circles. Concentric circles. Something about the completeness of a circle, the wholeness. And circles within circles... like our lives, with many layers and complexities.

Here is the first one I played with.

Then... I got to thinking about all of us here in Bloggyland. Some of you are more gentle and pastel...

Some of you might be more intense and dramatic...

Some are flamboyant and colorful!

Some are more blue...

Some remind me of camouflage colors, hiding, peeking...

Some are like the fantasy color purple, with active imaginations...

Some remind me of royal blue, strong and loyal and dependable...

Some are unique and unusual, definitely not run of the mill...

And some are just colorful characters, and too complex to pin down!

I'm real curious to see if anyone identifies with any of these... or do you see yourself differently??

Ha ha ha... I think I've finally got circles out of my system!

From Dr Phil's book: "The solutions lie within you."

My verse for today: "Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him."

My quote for today: "We don't know all the answers. If we knew all the answers we'd be bored, wouldn't we? We keep looking, searching, trying to get more knowledge." --Jack LaLanne

Enjoy the Journey,

Loretta

I have just sit here for a few minutes using the scroll button on my mouse to go up and down over your colorful creations. I really can't decide which 'one' I am...but every time I scroll seem to stop the longest on the 'unique and unusual'.

So that it is!

But I don't really think of myself that way...
do I?

Loretta, this is harder than it looks girlfriend!!!

Purple... definitely purple. :)

Definately the fantasy color purple with an overactive imagination! Oops! Was that supposed to be an "active" imagination? Well, I've got a whole story for your circles. It's about a planet in the Beta quadrant that has it's whole surface pockmarked in circles. Cone shaped, tall, volcanic structures that protect the fragile inner core.
Oh dear... here I go running on and on...love those purple circles!

I'm most attracted to the royal blue - I love vibrant greens and blues. But most would probably peg me with an active imagination.

Really fun creations you made. I love all the oclors.

What a fun post! I was drawn to the unique and unusual one - don't think of myself that way though.

What fun!!!! I'm drawn to "colorful characters".. and, yeah, guess I can describe myself that way. Thanks for sharing your artistic talents with us, Loretta... and thanks for your comment on my recent post about throwing food out... You said "So many issues to work through on our way to being healthy." That's a helpful thought for some reason.

Thanks for sharing your art, Loretta. Also thanks for the well wishes you sent my way by commenting on my blog. I love your circles--the color combinations are great!

I love the flamboyant and colourful one - curious because by nature I'm more the camouflage type!

Hmm - mind you, my dining room walls are painted sunburst orange, and I do have a deep rose pink office/spare room...
