DAY 317 And The Winner Is...

Hello Journal & Friends,

I am sooo high tech! Mwa ha ha ha!

Today is the day we find out who the Big Winners are for the Spring Challenge. We ended up with 10 brave Weight Loss Warriors at the end of the challenge.

So I scribbled each name on a scrap of paper, crumpled them up, and let Vevie pick the 2 winners... what a hoot!

Ready... set...

All done, Mom!

And now, drumroll please... Winner of Mary's exercise DVD is:

Deb at Deb Will Be Free  ... Congratulations! Aren't you jazzed?... more exercise... ha ha ha ha ha. ;-)

And next in the winner's circle, to win Christina's Larabar sample is:

Ruby at A 252 Pound Journey To Being Free  ... Congratulations! Larabars are soooo good... yummo!

I'll email you both with the details.

Thank you to everyone who joined in the Spring Challenge. This was the first time I ever did anything like that, and honestly, I was kind of afraid no one would join in with me.  But you DID, and it was fun, hard, long and rewarding. Thank you all!!

From Dr Phil's book: "Having specific, carefully mapped out, vividly envisioned goals is an absolute requirement for success."

My verse for today: "Give thanks to the Lord of lords: His love endures forever."

My quote for today:  "Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." --The Red Queen, Alice in Wonderland

Enjoy the Journey,

Hahaha! Love that Vivie picked my name! Just love that! :D She is so cute. I'm ready for a pet--but with new carpeting and a 3 year old, maybe not. chuckle.

It looks like I'll be doing one starting July 5th--The FREEDOM Challenge. Details will be on my blog soon. Not today, but soon.

Hahaha. I'm so excited--I won! :D

Wow! Thanks so much for doing this challenge. Even though I had a hard time recently I feel like this was a really positive experience!

Also, Christina has my address already, but should I still email her?

Hi Ruby,
Whichever way you two want to work it out is fine with me. :-)

I'm glad it was a positive experience, it was for me, too. In fact, Deb at Deb Will Be Free is getting ready to launch a new Freedom Challenge on July 5th, and I'm going to join that one, because I've found they really help me stay focused.
