DAY 206 Back on Track & Remembering my Journey

Hello to my Journal & Friends,

Okay, no more whining. I didn't get my way... I pouted and whined... it's over. Enough already. Life is too short to waste focusing on something I can't change.

I appreciate all the encouraging and wise advice from friends here. There was so much good advice, ideas and encouragement... I appreciate it so much. Thank you all! It helped more than you'll ever know.

So, I didn't get my way. It didn't seem right, didn't seem fair. But, now I will continue on with this journey, and keep DOING the things that I know are healthy. I'll look for areas to improve upon, and look for areas that maybe I was too strict, causing me to fight it. This is for life, so whatever I do I want it to be sustainable.

I'm putting my emphasis back onto my goals and dreams, and just keep on keepin' on.

It's time to look closely again at my Theme for 2010, and THINK about what it means, and how it applies to my everyday, real, where-the-rubber-meets-the-road life. The answers are there, I just need to remember... especially Progress, not Perfection!

From Dr Phil's book: "Your food plan sustains your commitment in the absence of emotional energy."

My verse for today: "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength."

My quote for today:  "I don't think of all the misery but of the beauty that still remains." --Anne Frank

Enjoy the Journey,

Loretta

I think that is my mantra for this year Progress - not Perfection!!! My husband apologized because last night we ended up ordering pizza - ok I will leave the rest for my blog.

You are the greatest - glad I found you.

I love that artwork for your theme--I wish you could put blank ones for sale (online or at Michaels? or Joaane's?) so we could individualize our own from your pattern...that is for adult folks who still like to color like me.

Third time was a charm on that last one. [blogger keeps wigging out on me]

Keep up the good fight, Warrior Loretta!

We all have our moments of whining and pouting. It's all right to let emotions out, even if they aren't noble. I think swallowing them is part of what got us all into trouble. Maybe?
