Good afternoon Journal & Friends,
For Friday Favorites, I'd like to pass along this little video.
I made one of my infrequent visits to Facebook, and came across this. Wow, what a surprise ending! It touched my heart, and made me think. Hope ya'll like it, too.
Couldn't get the video to embed, but here is the link to see the video on YouTube.
From Dr Phil's book: "For you to succeed, you have to translate this knowledge, awarenesss, and insight into action."
My verse for today: "I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge."
My quote for today: "The tree on the mountain takes whatever the weather brings. If it has any choice at all, it is in putting down roots as deeply as possible." --Corrie Ten Boom, survivor of Ravensbrook Concentration Camp during WWII, author of The Hiding Place.
Enjoy the Journey,
Loretta

DAY 754

It was a nice video. We often overlook that people have their own issues to contend with.
Great video, greatest message!
I try to remember the message of this video--and, sadly, often fail.
Thanks for the reminder.
Deb
Love that video - and to tell the truth - a little tear came to my eye tonight as I watched it! Even though I have seen it many times before!
Hope you have a great weekend - Miss Rettakat!
Full of love and appreciation!
Wow, thanks for that link to the video Loretta. I need a pair of those glasses. Too easy to forget most days.
Yep I teared up on this one!
An acquaintance of my daughter got cut off from a parking spot she was waiting for. The guys said "Too bad fat bitch" to the driver. She went in to Walmart cashed her check and then gave all her stuff to her sister and said if I don't come back, call mom.
This girl is 6 ft 3 and 325 lbs (25 yrs old). She waited at the parking spot for the guys to return, walked up to the driver and punched him straight in the face. The driver fell down crying and the passenger was scared and begged not to be hit, too. It was really not the right thing to do. No cops were called. This girl is usually very quiet... I guess don't take her spot and don't call her the B word!
liked that...wish I owned a pair...might help sometimes.
Howdy, it's funny you mentioned about the way they did that art work. The photo may not show it well but the newspaper in the painting was actually decopagued newspaper onto it. It really grabbed me, plus the look of the characters.
thanks for popping by!
At Foolsfitness we want pizza!!!- Alan
