I sure can't think of anything positive about myself, or anything that I particularly like about me. I must change! So Dr. Phil's quote today is also spot on for me.

I like the colorful bear jar...I see it's money, but what are you going to buy with all the reward money?

(I'm not sure what a greenie is...but it sounds gross. lol)M @ the Woes and Throeshttp://ohfreedom.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-308288649463011906.post-26215166587486982562010-05-09T11:12:35.390-07:002010-05-09T11:12:35.390-07:00Grrreat week, especially with the greenies!
Here...Grrreat week, especially with the greenies!

Here's my update:
http://cincimom11.blogspot.com/2010/05/spring-challenge-week-6-stumble.html

Thank you for reminding us each week that we want progress, not perfection. That's finally starting to sink into my dense head. Also, if you hadn't recommended Dr. Phil's book, and if you hadn't talked about working through your feelings, I probably would have stayed in denial about mine. I wrote a post on my feelings, and I have you to thank for getting me to really think and dig deep. Thanks a trillion, Loretta!financecupcakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03781586611582887524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-308288649463011906.post-54146773136852105742010-05-09T10:41:14.967-07:002010-05-09T10:41:14.967-07:00Whats a Greenie? I mean I knew that my need for a plan was anxiety-based, but MPas made it sound so much more positive. :) Nice bonus for being an obedient challenge reporter. hahaha

Anyway, I hit all of my goals this week, although some were tough and midnight hour to get done. Note: if you grind up a serving of cauliflower and slip it into your banana processor "ice cream" just to get that last veggie in--you WILL notice the flavor. ick.

Here's my link: http://debwillbethin.blogspot.com/2010/05/spring-challenge-update.html

Thanks, Loretta!

I could tell yesterday that you were feeling better. So glad.

DebAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-308288649463011906.post-68386091644452218622010-05-08T13:12:08.004-07:002010-05-08T13:12:08.004-07:00I love the way you decorated your money jar, addin...I love the way you decorated your money jar, adding to the positiveness. :)

I'm stubborn, too.

1. Drink more water ... I need to do better. I have been overwhelmed with panic this week, which made every though, but what I need to get done fly out of my head.

2. I have implemented mini workouts on the days I don't do hard-hitting, formal workouts. I drop on the floor and do situps, or dance around or something - crunches while driving.

3. Remaining positive through the sea of rejection. Siiiigh. Some days it's tough. I'll start doubting myself. Then I tell that little voice to shut the heck up. I tell myself to wear the feathers proudly. It is my right of passage. It won't last forever. It will toughen me up for later. I have not done any new subs because of what I wrote under goal 1. I need to do some new ones though. I will reward myself with more work of this nature when I get to a certain point in editing. Yeah, work is rewarded with more work! I know how to live.

4. Continuing to be out there goes. My twitter followers grow. I read in public again this weekend. I got a few more followers on my blog.

Like about me: I learned from loosing the weight how to deal with feeling overwhelmed - break it down into smaller segments, then make a plan for the first little bite and keep at it one bite at a time. I loved I learn to channel that panic into organization and plans.

Peace out! Keep at it! Eventually it becomes habit.M Paxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14096697282530998519noreply@blogger.com
